Istra Hotel - Rovinj

i liked the location, the hotel was on a loonely island fool of nature and romantic sites. The food was also very good.

the main thing that bother me, was the fact that the hotel had four stars, and the mistakes they did was for a hotel that had four stars not common. the main lack was on their organization. And the fact they called this a spa island i dont think you can call this a spa island. It is a hotel with cca. 300 rooms the spa can only take about 10-15 people. They only have 4 "deckchairs" in the all spa. Its a good hotel but if you want to get a more quality spa you should go somewhere else.

Location of hotel was good and our room had a beautiful view over the sea and the swimming pool. Smallish but well equipped with balcony.

The dining experience. We didn't book half board thinking that we would try out the various restaurants on site. During our stay though only the main, self-service restaurant was open. This was not a good experience - could be likened to school dinners or a staff canteen!

Loved our stay at Hotel Istra!!! We had an amazing balcony with a sea view! The staff was very friendly & helpful! Hope to get back there some day. I have already recommended the Hotel Istra to several friends!

Big, comfortable rooms, nice place, good food.

Everything outside the hotel itself is wonderful (but bring watershoes for the rocks as you enter the water). The hotel interior is ok but certainly not luxurious. The rooms are small. I would give good value for a couple but poor value for a family since you end up paying for two rooms. On the other hand all the hotels in the area seem to not have family rooms so I gave fair value. The worst part of the hotel is the buffet restaurant. If it is busy, the din is deafening. The staff spend all their time throwing around cutlery. I would recommend sitting across the way in the other room. You don't have much choice for breakfast but I would recommend eating supper at Lanterna or in Rovinj (make a reservation).

Wunderfull quiet surroundings, near by the town Rovinj for entertainment, but with the quietness of the island very relaxing. Boot connections very good. Beautiful terrace/bar with light meals with wonderfull sunset. Breakfast very much choice and good quality

The tranquil location and laid back feeling

I have been stayed at this hotel for four weeks this August!The location of the hotel is surprised ! It is on the island ! It is very beautiful place!The water of the sea is transparent and fresh !You can relax on the beach and also in the Spa which is very good! I like this hotel and this place!!

Feeling is good in one of the app. Nature around the hotel is great. Food is excellent.

Only one thing., hairdryer was not working and was broken on our bed.

Amazing location, very nice view, clean, big and cute swimming pool, whole staff speaks german and/or english, good breakfast, free and good transportation to Rovinj

Quite high price but you pay for the unique location, small rooms, you can hear all steps from the room above, small shower cabin, no w-lan while cable internet very expensive; but the biggest problem I would say is the noise made by personnel: in the restaurant with cutlery and dishes, on the terrace at 1 A.M. with ordering chairs/tables, at the swimming pool already ordering noisy the beds at 5 P.M., even if they only close at 7 P.M. This problem could be solved with a better management.

Beautiful location lovely hotel.

Hotel staff were generally poor

Il più grande vantaggio è il complesso dell'isola e le piscine, la zona piscina, fitness, ecc. Il cibo era buono, le bevande e le torte/gelate/creme ecc. ragionevoli. Con circa 300 camere l'hotel non si sentiva affatto affollato, c'era un sacco di sedie a sdraio, ecc. Wifi eccellente.

Le camere sono un po' di base, l'hotel potrebbe fare di più per promuovere/migliorare intrattenimento ecc. Attenzione al traghetto: va per la terraferma una volta all'ora in ogni direzione, quindi dovete essere attenti.

La posizione è meravigliosa ....

Alcuni membri del personale (ad eccezione delle persone della reception) non erano molto amichevoli e mi hanno fatto sentire a disagio..

La camera era grande con un soggiorno e una terrazza spettacolare. Tutto è molto pulito e il personale è molto attento. Abbiamo dovuto prendere il traghetto il giorno del check-out alle 7 del mattino a Rovigno, e non c'è stato nessun problema ad arrivarci. L'isola è molto tranquilla e la spiaggia è bellissima. Proprio lì c'è pizzeria alla griglia con un prezzo buono.
